adjustment on the sphere is all done through button pressing, no external equipment is required, once you get used to it, its very simple.
I don't think it would be as driveable if you go for the faster motor and limit the EPO, you can only do this via the transmitter.
on the regular sphere (not the comp) you can use 'sportsman' mode, this limits the max rpm to 24,000 rpm but its still going to have all the power up until that amount of revs.
the sphere comp has a 'low traction' setting, I tried this on a wet road and was suprised at how much it tries to traction control, worth a try just so you know what it does
