I remember racing the early predators when I still had a bosscat.
One particular regional B final my dad said to me, "dont worry about that predator, he probably wont finish the race"
Sure enough the pred passed me in the first laps and began to build up a lead.
A few minutes from the end I passed a front wheel in the track, half a lap later I pass a three wheeled pred
The poor guy had collected a backmarker and lost a wheel.
I always felt a bit guilty when I tangled with a predator when I was driving the bosscat.. there was only even one way that was going to end. It was like hitting an apple with a brick.
