I'd like to say it would cost me twice that, but I'd be telling porkies!!
Thomas Bscher, the McLaren F1 sports car driver and merchant banker, used his F1 to drive from Frankfurt to Cologne, his regular commute. He once called Woking to say his road F1 was playing up. They dialled it up remotely on its computer, and said they didn't think anything was wrong with the car, but the logger looked like it was playing up as it showed two recorded speeds of 212 and 214 mph. Bscher's response was "why do you think the logger is playing up?"
Now, that's about 340kph, so the fine would be more than the car cost!!
