However, on a buggy, you're not going to see a 50/50 weight distribution, so those jewellers scales may not give a reading.

When doing a weight distribution measurement on my Durga (running weight around 1800gm), the weight across the rear axle was slightly too much to read out (somewhere over 500gm per wheel).

So I use 5kg kitchen scales for the job now. Accurate to 1gm which is more than sufficient!
