That was with a 7.5. To be honest though when you get the gearing sorted I don't think you need to go for a 6.5 as this motor seems more than fast enough for an intermediate. The manufacturer gearing range is 24t to 29t so I'd try that before making any major changes, I think it's a good combo providing you can squeeze it in.
