Ball links on the shock shafts haev never popped out on mine (Bigbores) and the stock diff spacing has been perfect (no faillures or even wear on the gears!). Try a new ball link on the shock shaft (don't reuse the old one). It should be fairly tight when you screw it on.What went wrong with the diff? You didn't go into details... Broken gear? Stripped teeth? What shimming were you originally using?
