I took one look at the new one and almost threw up
How horrible is that ?!? Still, i can see why they used a current chassis with the old body - imagine using a old 380 silvercan again and breaking the front chassis suspension lugs all the time
When i raced one in '82 the first thing you had to do was get a modded 540 mount & motor in there with the aftermarket brass gears.. even then it was much slower than the RR's and Scorpions... but i won my first ever race with that car, which ive still got in my collection.... ahh great days
