I run a B4, but a couple of club members run cougars and I have had a fair bit to do with them, also after running the same B4 for 5 years I was close to 100% sold on geting a cougar when they came out, just wanted to see a few 1st.
But 1st of all both cars at our club were 1st batch and they both had quality probs with gearbox caseings, and both lads had trouble with the diffs circlips, I rebuilt one and altho once you get it right and the ciclip tight it works ok,its all a bit of a fiddle. The B4 is just simpe and effective, compaired to the cougar. and due to this I am Erring towards a new B4.

This said the couger drives very very well.Just for a club racer, who has a busy life and can't spend lots of time on the car between meetings. I would go for the B4

Time for someone to dissagree
