The mad rat thrust is caged though, so not sure on size of balls, but if one is measured you'll probably find it's possible to use loose (ceramic) balls instead - and probably more balls too than a cage will allow. A pain to build loose ball thrusts though!
Ah it's the 2.37mm that threw me. Yup 3/32 is nice and common
