I got my 1st batch from an overseas Tamiya Distributor as Hobby Co promised supply at the end of June & then let us down (as normal)
I have had some 201 kits delivered from Hobby Co today.
Not sure why everyone is buying the 201 from HK, I know it makes sence to buy the 511 from there as the price Hobby Co quote is crazy!!!!
Prices i have seen from HK for the 201 do not work out much less than our UK price, $225 plus approx $50 shipping = $275, exchange at approx 1.45 = £189.65 Plus VAT (sorry, have to add this as law
) £222.84
Our price is £234.95 including delivery, so yes we are £12.11 more expensive BUT you may also get charged a handling charge by Royal Mail/ParcelForce for goods imported........
