The idea is to have a big flat front window closer to the front to give more steering, it's hard to see in the pictures posted so far but the window is higher than standard as well as further forward to catch air over the top of the shock tower. The lower back is more to get extra cooling on nitro engines, but it looks like it's been carried over to the B44 shell as it's part of the Punisher 'look'.
