The easy way to do this:

Build the shocks as per the instructions, pistons etc.

Oil weights for the springs supplied.

I use associated oil, always have

Astro: nimh's > front 35wt, rear 30wt.

Astro: lipo > front 30 wt, rear 20wt.

Grass: nimh's > front 40wt, rear 30wt.

Grass: lipo > front 35 wt, rear 30wt.

Using the springs supplied with the shocks these oil weight combinations have always worked for me on the DB01 chassis in conjunction with the differing weights of nimh's and lipo.

Not saying they will work for everybody.
