In France, our control tyres are :
Grass :
2wd rear and 4wd : Mini Spike Schumacher
Astro and indoor (carpet and tartan) :
2wd rear and 4wd : Minipin Schumacher
Dirt :
2wd rear : Bow Tie PL
4wd : Ifmar stud TL
Don't know about trucks, sorry.
Compound is not controlled.
The club decides which kind of tyres you have to run. If a grass track becomes a dirt track, you can't switch to dirt tyres.
There is a rumour saying that Proline has stopped production of the 1/10th Bow Ties. Dunno if it's true but we would be forced to change. I would really like to see the same tyres for both 2wd and 4wd rears.
I also don't really like our current choice of dirt tyres. Bow Ties are at their best only 1 or 2 runs, and Ifmar Studs are inconsistent and really hard on the track surface.
