Hi, we run a Short Course class at A1 Racing Club, near Grantham.
At the minute we have 6-8 Losi Strikes running at our meetings but there are some other manufacturer SCT's coming to join the class.

The Strikes in the vid are all box standard with LiPo power.
We have had one burnt out motor due to racer over gearing!
The standard kit dogbone driveshafts (shiny ones) are weak but Horizon will replace for free with updated harder ones when they fail and the newer batch should have these black upgrades as standard.
there have been a few bent front turnbuckles but Lunsford titanium replacements are now fitted and cured that problem.
I have just managed to be the first of us to kill the aluminium idler gear after 6 weeks of hard racing and many practice sessions, there is a steel replacement on its way.
For the price RTR it is a great truck, i would recommend a ball diff and CVD driveshafts and turnbuckle upgrades to beef up the truck but even then you have a cheap race truck.
They are great cheap fun and must agree that the kit body is a bit toy like but aftermarket replacements can be fitted with body mount mods.
Mark.
