Well today is a day Id like to put behind me as far as racing goes. The tc02 encountered an issue Ive not had before, its intermittent, and I dont know if its gearbox or electronics. I only finished 1 race out of 4 but pulled fastest lap of the day.
The 4wd the car was blazing the field, but it would only run 2 minutes then shut down. I cannot find any information about sidewinder esc's having thermal shut down, anyone know? If thats not the problem then my next guess is esc/motor combo pulling too many amps and the voltage is spiking below 6v cutoff.
The 4wd handled great and could pass at will, i love this thing!
First broken part with it today too, I got out of shape badly and way overjumped the tripple, landed hard on the left front. I thought it destroyed the lower arm but no. The arm ripped the inner pin out of its place and broke both ends of the pin! The arm did not break, weirdest thing Ive seen in rc in 25 years
