Spot on.. you took the words out of my mouth! I have this video and just put it on to see how it was done.
Cliff used a Ally Chassis(!) RC10T with paddle rear tyres and a huge sheet of flat lexan underneath kicked up at the front I believe. He drove it straight across a swimming pool which looked pretty full up, but it made it across the whole thing!!
