The club will be running tyre addative on the carpet. I have spoken with Ian from the Milton Keynes club who've supplied us with the carpet and he's OK with us using it.
However, we will only permit the following based upon the BRCA guidelines:

Nosram Traction Addative 'Carpet' - Part No NR96010
Orion Street Juice TC Traction F1 - Part No 44101
Orion Foam Juice Formula - Part No 44105
Speedtech Foam Traction Liquid - Part No FL001
These all work well together and will not affect grip levels. Other types will not be permitted. If you have never used tyre addative before we would highly recommend either the LRP or Nosram ones as they are very easy to apply.
We will be showing those new to addative how to apply it before we race next week so make sure you have some. I'm sure there will be plenty of us able to help those who do not have any.
It will be policed very strongly and no cars will be permitted to race if their tyres are dripping wet with addative, so make sure you have some kitchen towel available, though if you apply it correctly you will not have a problem.
