Just for information spektrum receivers seems to be quite resistant, Jim will vouch for this, as he took his apart ofter round 2 to pour the water out of it, and it had been sealed with blue-tak!

if i remember correctly the mini receiver ( cant remember the number) is proofed/coated against nitro spills so must be relatively waterproof.
also with regards to balloon just make sure you vent it now and again as condesation builds up i found and this is basically water
