Yes, it's possible, but only on a FS, I'm afraid. I didn't tried the mod as I find the stock diffs really good with quality balls.
A Norwegian chap made this mod. so thanks to our friend SHY, I asked him how to do it. That's what he wrote :

OT-5 is an old optima part, but its not that hard to get.
