I agree with the SPUD-MEISTER! I think one is the Kyosho MID Custom Special with gear diffs and the other was the JG Chassis
which was common at the time. The Mid came out around 1987-88ish and was top of the line. Joel Magic Johnson raced for Kyosho. The weakness of your Kyoshos is the GEARBOX. The Idler gear strips out and gets destroyed because its a manufacturing flaw. You can easily get a repro body off ebay and stickers too! They are missing parts, but expect probably around 100-200USD each.
