Those front shocks I believe are Kyosho 'platinum' shocks - regarded by many as being the best, operation-wise - but were a bit on the weighty side compared to say the Option House gold, they came on the real high-end Kyosho models.
Really excited about your JRX2 find Sancho, I really hankered after one when I was a young R/C racer, my mate had one but I had to make do with my Mardave Meteor
Yours looks really nice, and the paint job is suitably retro
I've realised my dreams & now own a pretty nice JRX2 runner (also with the H-Arm rear set-up) & a lightly used JRX Pro.... I also have enough spares (except for a chassis plate - see my wanted thread) to build a new one
Edit; I've raced a few times at Holbeach (more mid to late 90s) usually when they held regional meeting, I can remember racing in a pub garden.... but mostly at the track behind the rather odd/creepy motel.
