The only place it really matters is with the new plastic pivot blocks. Mine lasted 1 lap when the front ones broke. They are cheap as chips though so I guess you make a decision on if you want to use them as a deliberate failing point or upgrade to the alloy blocks. I've just upgraded all of the corners on mine to the alloy pivot blocks and it will cost you around £75 to do. I knew they were plastic before I bought the car but I was surprised at how weak they were. They might last better with a stegger brace which could be a cheaper option. I am now running the stegger brace and alloy blocks so hopefully that weak point has been eliminated (probably just moved somewhere else ).

The plastic steering arms I think are better than the alloy ones as they give a little, not sure yet how they will hold up.
