they are ilegal because you can't 'buy' that combo off the shelf.
they will become legal if/when LRP/NOSRAM produce a motor (for example 5.5 sintered) that you can buy off the shelf and are submitted to the EB
you will then be able to use the 5.5/sintered can/rotor combo
