Both are good cars, it depends on your level of competitiveness. I know you say you have raced other cars, so I assume you'll learn nitro very fast and you may find your progress hindered by the car. Im not saying they are bad cars, they are extremely good, and are beyond the level that the price suggests.
If you were to choose a Losi eight RTR, Hong Nor X2-RTR, or something along those lines, they may be slightly toned down versions of the top spec versions, but even so, are more than capable of being very competitice with some upgrades.
The cheapest way, long term, is not to go the route of RTR if you are going to race this class for a long time. Get a top flight kit (many to choose from), choose a decent bargain but competitive engine (Alpha), select your servos (ACE DS1015's). Far cheaper to do this than buy an RTR then upgrade it as you improve, as like I said, I assume you'll progress quickly.
