Whats the point in putting grease on the outside of the diff rings if you dont want them to slip? dont use any grease at all!!! simples. I know it says in the B4 manual to grease the outside, but I never have and have never had a bad diff.

I disagree with the advice given regaring diff ball types. Touring cars are a hell of a lot harder on diffs/transmission with massive power going through them. An off road car is protected by a slipper, if it is set up right the diff should never slip, plus they dont have as much power because of the limited grip.

I think your diff balls will work a treat, just stick with the kit greases, they are in the kit for a reason.
