My current 12th scale car is a BMI 12L4 conversion. I didn't like the funky, Mickey Mouse front end on the CEFX car, and the rear pod plates were part of the graphite top plate, and the motor screws would move on the graphite. Nice car—all high-end stuff comes with it, but the car lacked some stable tuning aids that I am used to. I had WAY too many 12th scale cars (still need to get rid of a 12L4), so I sold the cars I wasn't comfortable with.
The body was something I was experimenting on. It looked AWESOME on the track, especially with the fluorescent yellow TRC wheels.
