2wd the b4 is the better option, but the new tamiya looks interesting and also the new schumacher as well. Best bet would be to go for the one that looks best.

4wd i prefer the tamiya trf511, and is a simple car to drive and set up but otherwise if you dont like get the associated b44.

Electrics lrp sxx tc is what i use (its brushless only) with either a losi motor (its cheap but works well and easy to solder) for club and an lrp x12 for events. Winds, well if using lipo (i use vampire 4400 saddles) then a 7.5 or 6.5 is the way to go. Hope this helps.
