OK they dragged their heels and it took numerous emails, stress and a Paypal dispute but i got my £360.00 back at last. Thought id let everyone know to be fair to ETamiya.
Their comms were pleasant but them refunding me should be as quick as me paying them. It takes three clicks of a mouse not a week or more. Have to admit i thought id lost my money.
One thing that is worth mentioning. They requested that i cancel my Paypal dispute before they refunded me. I told them that there was no way i was going to do that because they had let me down once already and it was my only guarantee of getting my money back! I filled in the section that was requested by Paypal giving an amount we had agreed on as partial refund of £360.00 ( this was despite the fact that i had requested to cancel the whole order before they posted it! )
Anyway, i escalated the Paypal dispute to a claim and Paypal immediately closed it ( automated email ) stating that quality and quantity of goods not received are not part of their terms and conditions for buyer protection !
Be wary if you ever have to end up doing a claim guys - dont tick the "part of shipment received" box - go for the lot or you`ll get screwed over by Paypal aswell as the seller
As for using ETamiya again, i wouldnt bother unless you`re not in a huge rush for the bits and keep your eye on the postal charges. I think they are generally honest thank god, just the stock listing isnt accurate and they drag heels if theres a problem.
Alls well that ends well anyway.
