most of the top spec race cars are just as capable as the others in the right hands. the main thing to influence your decision is which car is popular at your local track, or proven to be quick on your local track. This way there will be lots of people at the track to help you with set up or borrow spares from.
Also spares prices and availability should also be a factor.

Best way to make a choice is go to your local club and see if some of the mebers will let you drive their car for a few laps to see if the handling suits your driving style.

People will always give you biased replies based on the car they like or own. Trying them for yourself is the only way.
