Hi,

Recently found out I need a new clutch in my 2000 1.8 diesel ford focus. (been trying to nurse it till its MOT)

Been quoted £500 at a local garage and £350 at a garage my mates day runs.

Now I know replacing the clutch is kinda big job, but what do you mechanics on here reckon on the pricing?

Ive seen a few replacement clutches for under £100 new on ebay.
