Grrr, was looking at the sales section just now and I think I've snapped. Why do sme people think that selling a car is like playing a game of Guess Who?
For example, here's a typical advert that could have come from the past year on here (details changed to protect the innoccent...or stupid):
Quote:

Can anyone point out what was wrong with that advert? I was under the impression that if you're trying to sell something, you've got to make it as attractive as possible to get someone to bite the hook?
For a start, put more details in. Is the car stock? If not, what upgrades does it have? How old is it? etc etc.
Then, putting ''good condition'' means nothing if there's no pics. I've seen stuff described as good, someone's bought it, and its turned out to be an absolute dog. Something that could have been avoided with an honest description, and images. And why put ''ask for pics'' or ''pics on request''? Who on Earth has ever bought something without seeing it? If you have pics, get off your lazy 4rse, plug the camera cable in, and upload to Photobucket!!!
Finally, its not ebay, its not Cluedo, or Guess Who. Put a price up FFS! You know exactly what its worth, so why play games? Why beat around the bush?
To me, anyone who can't be bothered to list something properly, do research to get a price, or even take a photograph of the items....aren't going to get my business. And thats mainly because I don't want to get ripped off by someone else.
I know this sounds like a rant, but I'd hate to see others get ripped off either by shoddy adverts. RC Car Racing isn't a cheap hobby, £100 is a lot of money to lose if things are mis-sold or just badly put up. You're just wasting peoples time with cr4p adverts.
Consider this, when you're looking for your next road car, would you enquire if it said something along the lines of this?:
