For an example of how it should be done look at the little guy, X-Factory. Chazz or Darren will say "we're waiting for part 'x', it'll take about 'y' days". Those 'y' days later, they're back with updates. They also post advising of shipping status, customs delays etc. Basically their punters always know where they stand.
A simple statement of 'design revisions/manufacturing delays/ash cloud/the dog ate it' from a Schuey rep and an occasional update would have been nice.

Agreed, and i dont think this lack of communication between manufacturer and customer is helping sales, Not just Schumacher either.
I know 2 people that have got bored of waiting and bought a X6EC and cancelled there SX pre-order. (i know 2 isnt a great deal of people but the decisions of these could influence others)
