Am i right in thinking that when the wishbones on the rear changed to the flat universal type the shock tower had to change to suit the geometry but overall the old geo and the new are actually the same ?
If so, people who had the old X6 could as a get me through the day switch back to the old wisbones and tower if they broke and didnt have a spare trackside....then they could save some pennies to buy a new squared tower..
P.s mines had tons of abuse and its still solid - 4mm and a couple more quid far out weighs 3mm and more regular breakages IMO
