I have an Orion Advantage charger with mini croc's on the output leads, and I need to charge a battery with a deans connector. I was thinking I just buy this -

I was going to cut the crocs off and resolder a deans straight on but I'm worried about screwing it up as I've noticed there are two smaller wires going into the crocs together with the +/- wires, possibly for monitoring voltage, and they look rather delicate...
Battery is only 1500mah nimh, and I'll probably be charging at 3 amps for a half hour charge time. Thanks
