You might do yourself a favor and not worry about little things like your transmitter (tx) displaying your laps, as what the track's computer system says is the only thing that matters. Concentrate instead on driving clean laps, repeatedly, and you'll find you won't need to worry about how many laps (or how fast the rare one was) as all that matters is leading the pack behind you.
And instead of buying a transponder off eBay,
I'm guessing you're looking at someone's "used" one (they're getting a fortune for used transponders on eBay, and I just don't get it), to save yourself some money and aggrevation and look into a
MRT one.
They make clones of the AMBs and work great, are half the price of an AMB, and are located in the UK so you should be able to receive it quickly..........
