On a high traction surface, a buggy not using anti-roll bars will tend to have a lot of chasis roll, which results in being less responsive. With anti-roll bars fitted you get less roll making it more responsive to cornering and make it more stable. Sometimes with the anti roll bars fitted it can reduce the grip on the rear but most commonly it does not.

• The gold bar is often used on high traction tracks and the silver/black bars are typically used on medium traction / loose tracks (dirt tracks)
