If that's your reasoning then the
whole car would be more expensive too as that'll be put together in China and shipped over - I doubt LRP are selling them at a loss. As I see it, the car is super cheap and the spares are 'normal' - some real disparity there. Long term, you'll only save if the car doesn't snap or wear out more often than others.
I hope you're right it was a freak crash, though I now have doubts about the strength of the metal parts. I'll be buying those spares, plus replacing the spur gear which lasted half a dozen runs (yes, I'm on 0.6 mod pinions!) and trying again - will report back on here.
