Hi all,

2 of my Racing Buddies & Me were lucky enough to get our LRP SXX StockSpec Speedo's pretty much the day they were Released! We could'nt believe how much Power they had over the previous StockSpec from LRP - the SPX!
Unfortunately, all 3 of us had the same 'Stuttering/Cogging' problems, while Accelerating out of Corners! Our first thoughts were that we may have been on the wrong Gearing, due to the Extra Advanced Timing on the SXX StockSpec, as we'd all started off on the same Gearing as when we were using the SPX Model!
One of my Mates who had been running the LRP X12 10.5 Spec Motor, Geared at 7.3 with his SPX, had decided to re-use it with his New SXX StockSpec Speedo. He found it to run Extremely hot during a 5minute Race & occassionally 'Stutter' out of corners!
After many hours of Testing, he came to the following Set-Up, which seemed to Eliminate all of the 'Stuttering', let the Motor run Cooler, yet give more Power!

SXX STOCKSPEC SET-UP :

Speedo - Feel:3/Boost:3
Motor - X12 StockSpec 10.5T Timing:-10Degrees
Gearing(1/10th Touring Car) - 8.5-8.7

My other Mate was running the New GM 10.5 with his & I was running the New Speed Passion 10.5 with mine.
.......unfortunately, neither of us could stop the 'Stuttering' while Accelerating out of corners, whatever the Gearing we used or Settings on the 'Feel' & 'Boost' of the SXX StockSpec Speedo itself!

All 3 were on the NEWER VERSION 2(Bleeps Twice) Software as well!

In the Foreign Section of the LRP Forum, I've noticed a couple of Threads on the SXX StockSpec Speedo, saying 'Version 3' Software!
.........unfortunately, I cant translate, but this sounds to me that there'll be Updating the Speedo Software again soon, so personally, I'd would'nt Buy one just yet.
Wait another Month or so, til all of the Teething problems are sorted out!

It'll be by far the Best/Fastest Speedo out of the bunch, when its sorted!
