Hi fella... Stadium Thunders are just a re-incarnation of the Blitzer Beetle... same chassis but different coloured bits... when tami brought out a truck body that dropped on a BB chassis with modded body posts it was imagineatively called Stadium Blitzer... neat huh? (see what they did there?) then they re-boxed it as Stadium Thunder when "Stadium" trucks became popular... this was/is the last style they released on the chassis however...

The ST's are "worth" as much as someone would pay... but this is usually around £40-50 with all original electrics(which need swapping out for most-est fun!!) with an OK shell on a well known auction site...

The ST/SB/BB transmission will happily run a 10.5 BL motor, my BB loves it and my ST runs a quick epic 19t!! They will of course understeer like a mofo when on power and dramatically flip to oversteer if you off power mid-turn and then the weighty back-end says hello!!! if you can get used to this and "feather" the throttle in the turn it's quite good fun!!!

Spares are NOT a problem at all as there are many suppliers on the t'internet here(UK) and abroad... With a 10.5 installed it will compete with SC10's etc but the handling/suspension may prove a bit agricultural (But bullet proof..) in the red mist heat of a race, 'n of course, if you tuck a lipo in they are well quick on the straight...

On the Q. of wheels/tyres... Tamiya dyna blaster wheels fit with a bit of steering arm dremeling, but, if you can get 'em, OE wheels are da bomb and will take modern rubber...

Hope this helps geezer....

So go on, get it done... you know it makes sense...
