ok, just took my spare one apart, the charging socket is switched so when you have a charger in it won't turn on, if this is faulty then could cause the handset not to work but to bypass this ain't an easy job for the average racer, if you have a volt meter try the pins on your battery to see if you've got anything there, if you have could it be possible that you have plugged the battery in he wrong way round? there are 3 pins in a super exzes where the batt plugs in on the right side, positive should be at the top nearest the aerial, then negative and the bottom one is spare, if you have plugged it in the wrong way don't worry it won't damage anything, if it still don't work I would need to see it to help more
