Just had a KO Propo esc serviced/repaired in the US of A.
On it's return to the UK I was stung for £18.75 for the parcel

, because KO quoted $100 on the box for a $20 service charge.
Turns out we have to pay VAT on any repair no matter which country the repair is carried out in. Been like that since 1983 I'm told after talking to HMRC
Good news is if I can give evidence to them I will get a refund but it's a pain in the butt to do.
