If your going to look at prices I think you'll find the dex and pred are about the same. I was all for buying a pred before I came on here and asked a few about it. Preds have been around for years and still the availability of parts is not very good(I don't know of many model shops that stock spares). Also,the price of the parts is a big put-off aswell(a lot dearer than any other manufacturer).
The other thing I've seen on here is people ordering car kits and not receiving them for best part of two months!.
Now take the dex, car has only been out a few months and there is FULL availability of kits and parts(parts also very cheap!).
Adam Skelding will also help you as much as possible as regards any probs you have,ie set-ups and parts.
As Mark said earlier,the car is pretty much bullet proof and a winner straight out of the box, no need for any hop-ups to make it perform.
