If the rudebits is identical in shape to that of the original Tamiya trays, then the rear will not fit, as judging from this pic from
http://kentech.blogs.se the rear attaches to a part of the frame that TRF501 does not have, at least that part behind the rear battery post seems a lot smaller/shorter than on the TRF511 when looking at my TRF501 (so I think that the rear screw would attach to "empty" space).
I myself bought the TRF501 lipo trays (made of carbon fibre) from Fredrik Emilsson. Being carbon fibre, I'll just use extra weights if needed.
