Chris

chris im going to say this how i see it

1/ your not short of cash
2/ your a newbie to bulding running off road ( though you have exerience with 8th offroad and diffs)
3/ you like to have the best (even tho you dont keep em long )

you have a top line and one of the most expensive 2wd cars.

my recomendation fisrt would be to see whats popular and goes well

last worksop, 6 durangos in the A
trackside shop has spares for durango and cat
bally has spares for durango and cat

i have seen many cats break and my team mate ( average driver) can break it lots
i dont see many x11 on tracks or at worksop or spares at the track shop or bally's
(remember ALL car break)

me (average driver) kick the living crap out of my durango and have fail to finish two runs ( pin on cvd (before i built em as dave G tip another i killed another car and knocked off my track rod)

if i were you i would get a durango, either the R or full blown, get a couple of saddles and sell a couple of sticks.
durango is best ive ever had strong and reliable, the next batch i believe have some upgraded parts too.

best advice i can give
