maybe we could have a table on the stage for cars and transmitters, it would relieve the marshals in good time and the focus would be on transponder return and not charging.... as Dave said, charge time is not an issue at the mo.
we really need the transponders in the pit area for easy collection, by the computer is still a good position IMHO, nice and central.
