Read the small print on the blue card.
The warranty is granted to the first buyer only. If SMD grants you the warranty they won't be able to claim from LRP. Do the math how long their business would last if they did that often enough.
LRP want to attract people to buying new products. The granted warranty is an incentive for exactly this, no more, no less.
