SMD are returning my speedo and will not repair it. I am disappointed, as in the past Helger Racing and Mirage have dealt with repairs even without an original receipt as long as you provided the warranty card. A couple of years back, I got a new Nosram Matrix for £40 from Mirage, as the old one was unrepairable and I provided the warranty card.
Very disappointed that I now need to shell out for a new speedo. No where on the SMD warranty doc, does it say that warranties are not transferrable.

How/why do they know you are not the original owner?? If it is a registered name/address thing contact who you got it from and get confirmation of name/addy and just pose as them...!!!
