Not unless you are going to use BB 4wd fronts on a 2wd, as the 2wd fronts have been discontinued so are no longer comercially avalible and not allowed at nationals.
At the last round of the winter series I ran 1 set of yellow mini's all day. The grip was good until the final, when the temperatue dropped and the damp affected the grip levels, other than that it was good.
