I dont recall saying the car is bad, just I have encountered loads of niggly issues, that I think could have been avoided by better engineering/manufacturing processes.
There are parts which are thought out very very well, however the design and material use in the CVD joints baffles me a bit for one example.
If I wasnt going to stick with it, it would be long gone by now, for me, and I know im only 'new again' the car is about 90%.
My biggest bugbear is damage sustained when you loose control due to a ball-joint popping off, some car's seem to stay on, some fall off if you even look at them, I have obtained Tamiya 511 Balls and cups which I understand are excellent.
I have already overcome my breaking shocktower problem, for me, the aircraft grade carbon fiber was too stiff and brittle, owing to the lack of bonding agent (they are most likely pre-preg) since going fiberlyte with a lay-up with a coarser weave and more adhesive left in, not had a 1 issue and I dropped some proper clangers, you can see where the corner has dug right into the carpet and there are no cracks, whereas the 2 stock ones I went through the same type of crash snapped clean in half.
