it depends on how it takes into consideration the timing on the motor. With the Tekin, if run in sensored only mode, you have to calculate the amount of static (motor) and dynamic (ESC) timing you use. I prefer to run 0' on the motor if there is plenty of grip, then I will use the ESC to dynamically advance the timing, but only on motors up to about 8.5 turn, after that, you get some serious heat in the motor. Also, running in Sensored will take more juice out of your batteries.

As for the SXX settings, I can only guess that it works in a similar way.
